Hi everyone! My name is Julie Wallace. I grew up on a family farm near Rockyford, so I have spent most of my life here in Wheatland County, and most of my family still farms in the area. Growing up, I was very involved with 4H, ringette, and many school sports. I attended the University of Calgary and then made a move to Burnaby, BC, and finished up my BA and BEd at Simon Fraser University.

I now live in Strathmore with my husband and our two daughters. I began teaching in 2012 and have been lucky to have worked at a few schools in town before joining the staff at GFS. I love my role here teaching junior high! I coach volleyball at school and try to stay as active as I can, and I love to share that passion with students.

In my spare time, I love to read, camp, golf, and hang out with my family and friends. I coach ringette for my daughter’s team and am fortunate enough to still play on a team of my own. When I am not at school, you can find me at the rink or on the golf course!
